Hon. Lesuuda celebrates Mother’s Day in Maralal.

Hon. Naisula Lesuuda marked the International Women’s Day on 8th March in various events around Samburu County.

Hon. Lesuuda started with a mentorship session at Maralal Mixed Secondary School where she urged the young boys and girls to work hard at school as education is the sure way to transform their social economic lives. She proceeded to Maralal Prisons where she advised the inmates there to take the opportunity to reform and acquire skills that they will apply in life after serving their prison terms.

Finally, Hon. Lesuuda celebrated the day with the women of Samburu West. The MP was glad to see the empowerment efforts on Samburu West have had an impact on women.

Hon. Lesuuda was thankful to Samburu County Govt Department of Social Services, Caucus of Women MCAs Samburu County, Amref (Afya Timiza), Action Against Hunger, Child Fund, World Vision and Kenya Dry Lands Education Fund for their contribution towards making the IWD 2019 a success.
